Bailey Station is in the running to be considered one of the most innovative schools and we need your support to win! There’s $60,000 on the line, so keep reading to learn how you can support our school.

Earlier this year, we entered the Follett Challenge, a program created by Follett to find and reward schools for their work applying technology, content and creativity in ways that engage students, foster literacy and promote critical thinking. As part of the competition, we created a short video about what makes our program unique.

Please support us by viewing our video and voting for our submission at Twenty percent of our total score is based on how well we spread the word about our video and earn votes! You can cast one vote per day January 23–27, 2017, so be sure to visit often!

By casting your vote, you’ll help us to spread the word about all the exciting activities going on in our school.

Thank you for your support. Your vote could make the difference in helping our school be crowned the Follett Challenge champion!

International Literacy Day (ILD) shines a spotlight on global literacy needs, which goes hand in hand with International Literacy Association's mission: literacy for everyone, everywhere. On ILD (and every day), ILA advocates for a literate world, supports literacy educators and leaders, and celebrates the power of literacy.

Join us for ILD 2016 as we explore our spotlight country Jamaica, where they believe "Out of Many, One People." We'll also get in step with the lengths to which students in countries with developing economies have to go to get to school each day, and go the distance to raise awareness and advance literacy in our own communities.

Titlewish Fundraiser

Please support the Bailey Station library!

Our students are digital learners and starting August 12 and ending September 16, we’re having our annual online Titlewish donation drive.

You donate, students win!

Titlewish is an online donation program that allows us to use 100% of donated funds to purchase materials for our school. Every dollar raised goes directly to helping provide the best education possible.

Last year we raised over $2,500 for the BSE Library and new eBook collection! Students and teachers in grades K-5 can check out eBooks from any device (iPad, Kindle, Nook) using the Brytewave app or computer with an internet connection.

This year, our goal is to raise money to purchase more eBooks and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) books for our digital collection. All donors will be invited to a special “Sip & Read” reception this fall once books have arrived and are processed for checkout.

To help us meet our goal, please visit and click the Donate button.

Thank you for helping us provide Bailey Station students with the best education possible!
