About Me

Being one of the school counselors at BSE is such an honor.  I truly have the best job in the school.  It is incredibly rewarding to get to know each child, their family and work with such amazing teachers and staff.  I spend my time with students in preschool, kindergarten, first, and second grade. For a little background about myself, I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education at the University of Memphis and my Masters in School Counseling at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I have had experience in both school and community counseling as well as teaching.  I have learned so much about mental health in a variety of settings including hospital work.  But the schoolhouse just feels like home to me.  Helping to open a new Collierville school as school counselor was very rewarding. The Collierville community is very special to me.  I just love Collierville! This is my tenth year working in the school setting and my twentieth year working in the field of counseling. I am so blessed to be part of the BSE family in this way!

On a personal note, I absolutely love family time.  When not at school, you'll find me spending quality time with my family and friends.  We love any excuse for celebrations and get together often.  I am very involved in my church community and love to serve others, love to hear others life stories, love to walk, run, read, craft and drink coffee.  I am excited about this school year and know it's going to be an amazing one at the Best School Ever!
