Bestseller's Club

There are no fees associated with this club, however families are expected to secure their own copy of the books their child will be reading. A limited number of books are available for checkout from the BSE Library and the Collierville Burch Library, or books may be purchased from booksellers such as Barnes & Noble. 

How can My Child Participate?

To facilitate a book club atmosphere, participation at each meeting is limited to 25 participants and based on a first sign-up, first served basis. Families must sign up HERE in ParentSquare for EACH book club meeting to participate, as each book is geared toward different grade levels (Look to the top of this post if you are on a cell phone to sign up - click the HAND icon). Signing up for one meeting does not guarantee your space in another.

If you have multiple children that will participate in a meeting, you may indicate the number of spots for that meeting when you sign up. PLEASE WRITE THE STUDENT NAMES/HOMEROOM TEACHERS in the notes space when signing up.

Please only sign up for the books that are geared toward your child's grade level and that your child is committed to reading. This is a good opportunity to have a conversation with your child about what type of books they enjoy reading!

Read!

Please see the flyer at the bottom of this post to see the books students will read. Students are expected to read the book BEFORE the club meeting so they are equipped to participate in discussion. This will be a relaxed club but students will feel left out of the conversation if they have not read the book in advance - we want everyone to participate!
