Welcome, Mrs. Cook's Batch of Smart Cookies

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Mrs. Cook's Smart Cookies. Click on my videos tab to see a little more information about me. My name is Mrs. Leah Cook, and I will be your child's teacher this year.I have eighteen years teaching experience with Shelby County Schools and Collierville Schools in Collierville and Bartlett.

I graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Learning Foundations and Arkansas State University with a MA in Education Theory Practice and Learning. I also hold a Masters in Technology Education from Western Governors University, Tennessee. I am a Collierville Education Foundation Grant Recipient, a Collierville Technology Grant Recipient, and a Bartlett Education Foundation Grant Winner. Most recently, I was named Collierville Rotary Teacher of the Month for January 2019. I am also a Mentor Teacher for the University of Memphis and the Teacher Education program. I have two boys, Micah (age nine) and Sawyer (age six), a wonderful husband Christopher, and one dog Copper. Micah is in fourth grade at Bailey Station, and Sawyer is starting kindergarten at Germantown Baptist Church.

I'm looking forward to getting to know your family and sweet child this year. Thank you so much for partnering with me in their education. I can not do it alone, and I appreciate your help! Please feel free to contact me via email if you ever have any questions. My door is always open. Make sure to check out the student schedule below.

Thanks,

Mrs. Cook
