Welcome to Ms. Elkins' Class!

What a privileged it is to be your child's 4th grade ELA and writing teacher at Bailey Station! Your child will participate in exciting novel studies throughout the year that will be used to instruct all 4th grade reading skill standards, grammar standards, as well as writing standards. In addition, our carefully selected novels correlate with the historical time-periods covered in Social Studies during the 4th grade year, starting with the Revolutionary War and ending with the Civil War. So many other engaging activities and hands-on projects are planned, as well.  It's going to be fantastic year of learning!
