BSE Vision, Beliefs and Mission 

Bailey Station Elementary

The Vision of Bailey Station Elementary is to create an enriched learning environment that promotes excellence, independence, creativity, and fosters the development of life-long learners.  Students of all abilities will be equipped to meet the academic, social, and emotional challenges, as they become productive members of our society.

Beliefs:

1.Students learn best in a safe and nurturing environment that focuses on the needs of the whole child.

2.Students will achieve their fullest potential when they are held to high expectations for learning, given a challenging curriculum and valued as unique individuals.

3.Students learn best when a variety of research-based, data-driven instructional strategies are incorporated to meet their individual needs and learning styles.

4.Students will be encouraged to make healthy choices, be physically active, and to work and play cooperatively.

5.Stakeholders will work collaboratively and communicate effectively in order to ensure student success. 

6.Technological and fine arts experiences will be incorporated to enhance learning and prepare students to function in an ever-changing society.

7.Students learn best in a safe, well-disciplined learning environment that is maintained through effective school policies and procedures.

8.Research-based information and data will guide BSE to make decisions, which will allow all of our students to both achieve and exceed proficiency.

 

The Mission of Bailey Station Elementary School is to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through developmentally appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles.  We believe learning is maximized when it takes place in a safe environment enriched with support, encouragement and assistance.  We strive to equip our students with the skills to make healthy choices and to become productive citizens.
