About Me

 Teaching is my passion and I am thrilled to be starting my 15th year at the Best School Ever! I look forward to a successful, fun-filled year.  I am a life-long learner with a MEd from Union University.  I received Project Lead the Way STEM training from Mississippi State University and I am certified to train other teachers in PLTW.  I am also trained in Picture Perfect Science and have credentials to train others. 

My children are grown, but I have a cat that enjoys getting my attention. I live in Collierville and love my community. It is a wonderful town to live, work & play. So, if your child is in a play, dance or has a local sporting event taking place…I would love to know about it!

My favorite hobby, collection or activity: My hobbies are spending time with family, reading a good book, walking, Bootcampish, and taking on a new household project.

My favorite way to relax and unwind: I enjoy taking a long walk, reading, going to a movie or the theater, dinner at a new restaurant to help relax and unwind.

My favorite color: Shades of Blues & Greens
